The Asian Roulette

A classic game with an Asian touch.

Roulette is popular in casinos around the world and while the European and American versions make up for most of the offer, Asian casinos generally prefer having their own version of the game. However, this doesn’t come with any major differences which would change the way the game is played.

Asian roulette is very similar to the European variant as it has 37 numbers and one of them is a 0, which is marked by a green slot on the wheel. The difference with the Asian variant is that the order in which the numbers are aligned on the wheel is different than the standard used across Europe. The same odds and the same payouts apply but based on the location of the numbers on the wheel, players can bet on four different groups of nine numbers. These don’t contain zero and are determined in a counterclockwise fashion with zero being at the top.

Since the game is the same as the European version as far as the numbers go, it also has the same house edge of 2.70%. Oftentimes, Asian roulette can be found online with live dealers since players enjoy the realistic experience offered by this type of casino games. Live streaming video and croupiers from a casino certainly make for a more entertaining gaming experience and it is the best way to play real roulette without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

Regular Asian roulette can also be found at some of the leading online casinos, although it is certainly not as commonly featured as its European and American counterparts.
